Fixed Skylights

A fixed skylight will give you the full benefit of the light but no ventilation. Therefore it is suitable for rooms where adequate ventilation already exists. You have a choice of two different types of glazing on most of our sizes. Blinds are also available.

Manually operated top-hung skylights. Velux opening skylights when air circulation is requred.

VELUX Manual Opening Skylights (VS) will give you as much light and ventilation as an electric model. They are manually operated and you have the choice of two different glazing on majority of the sizes. Dependent on the positioning of the skylight, the opening and closing is controlled by a handle or a rod. A Fly screen is included.

Velux Fixed skylight. Cost effective for creating light filled rooms where adequate ventilation already exists. Energy efficient glazing and the use of blinds ensure heat transference is minimised. For rooms with adequate ventilation

Ampelair Turbo Ventilators

One Ampelair ventilator effectively ventilates the roof space of an average size home. For larger homes a second ventilator is required.

Ampelair turbo ventilators suit tiled or metal roofs pitched from 0 to 45� . Provides natural ventilation powered by the wind. No electrical connection or ducting required . Ampelair turbo vents, exhaust the very hot air that becomes trapped in the space between the ceiling and the roof. This prevents heat radiation into rooms.

A well ventilated home is protected from problems associated with moisture condensation and temperatures that can soar to a blistering 60??C. In hot humid localities, mold, mildew, dry rot and damp insulation (which becomes inefficient), is frequently found where proper ventilation is not provided.

Normal insulation is not enough to prevent heat radiation into your home. With effective roof space ventilation less heat is radiated into your rooms and air conditioners and fans can cope more easily. Power costs are also reduced.
